We all get 24 hours. Learn how starting your day with intention, learning, and structure can multiply your time and increase productivity.
There is something powerful about realizing we all wake up with the same 24 hours.
No one gets extra time.
No one gets a bonus hour for being successful.
No one is gifted more minutes because they “deserve” it.
And yet… some people seem to accomplish twice as much.
The difference isn’t time.
It’s intention.
It’s ownership.
It’s how the first hour of the day is used.
The Mornings That Changed Everything
Years ago, I made a decision to be intentional with who I am and what I do.
Instead of waking up when the world demanded my attention, I would wake up before it did.
Now, I rise at 5:00 AM. Not everyone needs to rise at 5:00 AM but if you could rise an hour before you normally do right now, you will see a dramatic shift in your life! I dare you to try it.
I feed Bella and Shadow. I take them outside.
The house is quiet. The world is still.
I grab my coffee. I sit in silence. Prayer. Gratitude. Stillness.
Then I study.
For at least one hour—while most people are still sleeping—I am learning.
Sometimes it’s YouTube.
Sometimes it’s a book.
Sometimes it’s market data.
Sometimes it’s automation, systems, AI, or CRM workflows.
That single hour has created more space in my life than any productivity hack ever could.
Because when you invest in learning, you compress time.
You eliminate confusion.
You eliminate wasted effort.
You eliminate re-doing things later.
Learning how to automate saves hours.
Learning how to structure systems saves stress.
Learning how to plan removes chaos.
That one quiet hour has multiplied my 24.
What My 24 Hours Actually Look Like
I wake up at 5:00 AM, Make the coffee, let the dogs outside, sit outside in silence for about 15-20 min. prayer, meditation clear my mind, then feed the pups and then begin my study time for about an hour, then I review my plan for my day.
Every hour has intention.
I connect with 25–35 people daily—texts, calls, emails.
I create at least one blog post every single day and distribute it across social media.
I study the Sarasota and Manatee County markets:
What changed in the last 24 hours?
What shifted in 7 days?
What trends are forming over 30 days?
I document it.
I prepare my weekly market update.
I take the top blog articles I’ve created—or discovered—and add those links into my Cloze system so they flow into my newsletters.
I review my buyer leads to ensure they have my top property picks. I love when I find a home that I feel fits every criteria for my buyer clients and then they choose to schedule a showing, fall in love, we write the offer and it gets accepted!
I review my seller listings and analyze the competition so we can strategically adjust if needed.
None of this feels rushed.
Because it was built intentionally.
The Truth About Time
Time expands when clarity increases.
Most people feel behind because they start their day reactive.
Phone, Social Media, Scrolling, Email, Notifications, Text Messages, Voicemails, Customer Relationship Manager, To Do List from yesterday and so on.
And suddenly, the day is gone.
When you begin with silence, learning, and planning, something shifts.
You move from reacting to leading. You have less anxiety.
You don’t feel busy.
You feel purposeful.
And purpose always feels lighter than pressure.
You Don’t Need to Wake Up at 5 AM
You just need to protect your first hour.
Your first hour determines your emotional temperature for the rest of the day.
It determines whether you operate from chaos or clarity.
You don’t need 24 more hours.
You need one powerful hour.
Start your day before the world starts pulling at you.
Study something that makes you better.
Learn a skill that buys you time later.
Write down what your day will look like.
Then move with intention.
That’s how 24 hours turns into abundance.
You were never lacking time.
You were just missing structure.
And structure isn’t restrictive.
It’s freedom.
